Congratulations on being a member of an Award Winning Organization! (No, Really!)

Over the years, Columbia River Mensa has earned several awards:

  • 2003 Prolific Owl (26% increase in membership)
  • 2007 Prolific Owl Honorable Mention
  • 2016 Prolific Owl (12% increase in membership)
  • 2014 -2015 – 2016 - 2017 - 2019 Emerald Award for Class V groups (fewer than 100 members)

This year we resumed our Award Winning Ways by earning 2024 Emerald Award for Class V groups (fewer than 125 members) and we also just received the 2024 Prolific Owl Award for 9.4% growth!

The Local Group Jewels recognize and reward Local Groups’ membership-related activities and for their active participation in all that Mensa has to offer to positively impact the experience of the Local Group members.  The achievement levels are, lowest to highest: Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby awards. The Local Group with the highest amount of points in each class will be recognized with the Diamond award.

The Owl Awards include the Innovative Owl, which is presented to the Local Group with the highest year-over-year membership retention percentage, and the Prolific Owl, which is presented to the Local Group with the highest percentage of year-over-year membership growth.
